ur knitting group handed over 40 trauma teddies to Brian from Brunswick PACT today. The trauma teddies are used by the police with children affected by crime or traumatic incident (eg. road traffic accident).

Brian told of a trauma teddy accompanying a young child who had been struck by lightening recently and was taken from Blackpool to Alder Hey Childrens Hospital, holding her teddy as she went and where she didn’t move anywhere without it during her stay.
Great work by our knitting group. Keep up the good work and thank-you for all you do.
Knitting Group meets on Tuesdays 12:00 till 14:00. New members welcome, learn to knit or just come and Knit and Natter.
